This private backyard garden in the 6th Ave. district is owned by Dennis Flannigan but open to the community. It was built in the Spring of 2010.

  • Individual Plot Availability: There is currently a wait-list for plots
  • Communal Garden Space: Kids garden (12x12'), food bank bed (10x10'), raspberry trellis
  • Gardener Eligibility: Any resident in the community is eligible for plots. Plots are assigned on a first come-first serve basis. Gardeners can renew plot(s) each year
  • Gardener Requirements: None
  • This garden is year-round.
  • Shared tools available for gardeners
  • Composting: on-site composting will likely start soon
  • The Garden is organic
  • Hours of Operation: dawn to dusk
  • Transportation: There is street parking available to gardeners and the garden is near a bus-line
