Grace Community Garden

Address: N. Vassault & N. 26th, Tacoma, behind Grace Baptist Church

The Grace Baptist Church converted a large piece of church owned property to a community garden. Through church donations, 10 raised beds have been built. This site has a test garden- have which WSU is using to study the uptake of arsenic in native soil at the site. At this garden, there is an additional education piece on how to garden safely. Money has recently been received from the West end council to install water pipes to help irrigate the garden.
